12/13/07: Leading national newsstand magazine, Your Business at Home, features Nouveau Riche in January 2008 issue. With hundreds of companies to select from for inclusion in their monthly magazine, Your Business at Home‘s selection process stopped at Nouveau Riche. On December 18, the January issue featuring Nouveau Riche will be on national newsstands at Barnes and Noble, Borders, Hastings, Books-A-Million, B. Dalton, and Staples. This magazine features profiles of several Nouveau Riche leaders, sharing their stories of success, plus articles such as “Real Estate Investing for Everyone”, with trends in home prices as reported by the U.S. Census Bureau, as well as stories of successful Nouveau Riche investors, the Nouveau Riche educational choice of live class sessions or home study, background on the real-world practitioner instructors, charitable endeavors, and more! As Rob Rennick of Success Magazine Groupindicated during the special Monday evening College event, “Nouveau Riche is setting the standard for education in real estate investing…and in a few days the nation is going to know about it!” As an added surprise, Monday evening event attendees received a free copy of the magazine pre-newsstand distribution and had the opportunity to place orders with Nouveau Riche! 12/10/07: Rock legend Alice Cooper paid a surprise visit to the Nouveau Riche Community at the special December College event. At the event, he and his wife Cheryl shared how Nouveau Riche President and CEO Jim Piccolo has come to their aid with the Solid Rock Foundation and the building of The Rock Teen Center where kids can seek refuge from the challenges of finding a channel to pursue their passions with education, music and athletics. Alice Cooper stated “you can change one kid’s life and it changes an enormous amount of lives around him/her.” His wife Cheryl went on to say that The Rock Teen Center has been viewed as the prototype for many other centers across the whole country. Nouveau Riche is honored to be a part of helping get The Rock up and running!
12/10/07: Nouveau Riche Instructor and multiple Community Benefit Company President Mark Kohler adds author to his list of credentials with the publication of Lawyers are Liars. 8/21/07: Shooting victim Heather Grossman teaches a valuable lesson on giving back and overcoming the seemingly impossible. During the August College “Special Announcement” with Nouveau Riche President and CEO Jim Piccolo, Special Guest Heather Grossman, a mother, mentor, survivor of domestic violence, winner of the Ms. Wheelchair Arizona Pageant, and first runner up in the Ms. Wheelchair America Pageant graced the stage. She shared her heart-warming and amazing story of tenacity, unfortunate circumstances, overcoming the odds, and her devotion to changing others’ lives. In the spirit of giving back, Nouveau Riche sponsored Ms. Grossman in the Ms. Wheelchair America Pageant, where she competed against incredible women from across the country and, at Nouveau Riche’s special College event, the founders honored Ms. Grossman with the “Inspiration Award 2007”—an eagle trophy for her superior drive and determination.
8/21/07: As The Real Market Experts® and Nouveau Riche continue to flourish, Nouveau Riche CEO Jim Piccolo announces the new CEO of The Real Market Experts®: Irv Wilson. A person whom Mr. Piccolo has known for many years, someone whom he trusts to guide the Nouveau Riche Community and provide good, solid deals, Mr. Piccolo honored Irv Wilson as the new RME CEO on-stage during the August College “Reaching Beyond the Dream” session.
4/4/07: At the April College “Special Announcement,” NR CEO Jim Piccolo revealed another amazing, cutting-edge, Community benefit—free online classroom video streaming of select Nouveau Riche classes—available exclusively for Regents Tuition Students! Now, a Regents Student has the ability to start class on the same day his/her tuition order completes! (A Student upgrading from a other levels of Tuition to a Regents Tuition will also be able to view the classes online, once his/her order completes).
4/4/07: “Realizing the Vision: Nouveau Riche Soars like an Eagle” from two hotel “campuses” to the future site of its very own, 23.6 acre campus! On April 4, 2007, CEO Jim Piccolo announced the FUTURE NR CAMPUS, with plans to build on-site classrooms, luxury resort accommodations with childcare facilities, an amphitheatre, plus a student union with plasma televisions, the capability to log-in and watch classes LIVE, computers in the classrooms, a “walk of fame,” gardens, and more! This “gem” of a property, an enormous, black lava rock mountain, overlooks the Valley of the Sun. Jim Piccolo shared his sentiment on this tremendous milestone and the fitting piece of land by exclaiming, “the new saying for NR is Nouveau Riche – see you at the top!”
4/4/07: During the “Special Announcement” at the April College, CEO Jim Piccolo presented Community Members with an important lesson on reciprocity and called upon the Community to “help us [NR Founders] give back!” The NR Founders are pleased to introduce the Frank Edward Piccolo Foundation, in honor and memory of CEO Jim Piccolo’s father. Mr. Piccolo stated “this is our vehicle to funnel our good fortune.” This Foundation will help raise and distribute funds to various charities selected by the NR Founders. 3/26/07: Nouveau Riche (NR) is pleased to announce that thousands of investors from around the country have experienced the Intensive™—an empowering, invitation-only, hands-on real estate investing workshop. In the first quarter of 2007, we’ve held nineteen Intensives™, featuring presentations on a variety of topics by Nouveau Riche’s esteemed Instructors and Community Members. The Intensive™ offers attendees a taste of the unprecedented educational experience offered by NR. Attendees get a sneak preview of the NR College and learn key information about real estate investing, while gaining exposure to the uplifting NR Community spirit.
3/20/07: The radio waves are heating up with a few of Nouveau Riche’s Instructors as Guest Co-hosts on the new radio show “My Financial Freedom”. This show aims to educate real estate investors of all levels on becoming successful in the field. Each show features an interview between the show’s Host Franc Tausch and one Guest, and includes a live call-in question and answer on the day’s topic of discussion. 3/20/07: Nouveau Riche’s three Founders are leading the charge in supporting charities. “Nouveau Riche teaches wealth creation, but more importantly, we teach people the responsibility wealth brings,” stated CEO Jim Piccolo. Recently, the Founders have reached out to others in need through five charities: 1)Judi’s House—a facility dedicated to helping grieving youth find hope and healing in the loss of their loved ones; 2) THE ROCK-a teen center devoted to making a positive difference in the lives of our youth by encouraging the development of their talents through music, sports, and education; 3) Celebrity Fight Night—one of the nation’s elite charities committed to helping eliminate sickness and poverty; 4) “Hockey Night in Arizona”-a night to support aspiring super-star hockey players by raising thousands of dollars for them to attend the Quebec City World Championship of Peewee Hockey and help make their dreams come true; and 5) Project Water Purifiers to Africa-a project to supply thirteen water purification units to produce clean drinking water for several orphans, AIDS victims, and urban poor in Africa who are in desperate need.
3/12/07: The Nouveau Riche Real Estate Investment College continues to flourish! This April 2-7th marks Nouveau Riche’s SEVENTH College. The April College, which will be held at TWO Campuses, features TWO NEW COURSES, FOUR NEW INSTRUCTORS, and ADDED CLASSROOMS to accommodate the rapidly increasing number of Students!
3/8/07: Nouveau Riche (NR) strives to provide its Students with the very best in real estate investing education. This April, we’re pleased to introduce TWO new classes at the College—Bookkeeping and Probate Purchases! Bookkeeping utilizes QuickBooks® software to help Students get their real estate investing businesses up and running. 1/15/07: Nouveau Riche College attendance more than tripled over the last year. Word is spreading quickly about the powerful, unique educational experience that Nouveau Riche offers to its Community. Attendance for December 9th of 2005 was 625 Students, with an increase to 1,967 Students registered for class on December 13th of 2006.
