The Rock

The Rock

Rock and roll legend Alice Cooper and his good friend Chuck Savale envisioned a Teen Center, called The Rock, as part of their Solid Rock Foundation’s efforts to improve the lives of youth and create a safe haven for adolescents in Arizona and beyond. Thanks in large part to Nouveau Riche CEO Jim Piccolo, that vision is becoming a reality. At the Rock Teen Center, kids will have the opportunity to seek refuge, and a channel to pursue their passions with education, music and athletics. Alice Cooper stated “you can change one kid’s life and it changes an enormous amount of lives around him/her.” The Center is currently being built on Grand Canyon University property in Phoenix, which was donated to The Solid Rock Foundation by the university. The Rock is a 29,480 square foot facility that will house a recording studio, computer lab, coffee house, game room, classrooms, basketball court, concert hall, and more. Recently, the Nouveau Riche Community raised over $11,000 to help build this remarkable teen center, and participating donors had the chance to take a photo with the iconic rocker - Alice Cooper!
